preparing tie dye shirts

Last night we attempted to make some shirts for tonight’s party…

I managed to make it to Hobby Lobby at 7:50, which is actually 10 minutes before they close. I had no idea they closed that early. I was rushing through the isles with no idea what exactly I’m suppose to be searching for.

I should have been given a warning before running into that place because I probably stopped at 4 different isles before actually stopping at the one i needed to be at. I had no idea they had so much Spider-man stuff there!

Anyway, the shirts look pretty trippy.

I cant even wait till tonight to show this, so I’m going to now. This is hilarious actually hopefully he doesnt read my blog before tonight. My bad chris..

family business

I never get to hang out with my little brothers as much as I would like to. I have class, two jobs that take up most of my time. I’m usually only free at nights and by that time they are either doing their homework or going to bed when I call. When I lived with my folks we weren’t always the closest but that doesn’t mean we don’t care about each other. I was so excited about moving out that when I finally did, I realized that I took alot for granted. I broke alot of promises.

Chris: “Hey can you come to one of my soccer games?”

Andrew: “When you come back to Lockhart, can we go see a movie?”

…..

Haven’t been to one of my brothers soccer games yet. I say I will make it to the next one, or I will go hang out with them for a whole day. Days turn into weeks, then almost months.

I have this picture I carry around in my backpack everywhere I go, today as I was cleaning out my bag I glanced at it and realized how fast time goes by.

This is Andrew, Chris and Uriel. This picture was taken in 2004. It is now 2009. 

“Damn… Where did the time go,” Is what I’m thinking as I’m sitting here looking down at this five year old picture, reminiscing of the day it was taken as if it happened just yesterday.

I remember when me and Uriel were little, we used to wake up every Saturday morning, go wake up my dad, turn on the TV and we would watch that Saturday morning line up on fox. I.E. Spiderman, X-men, Power Rangers, C-Bear & Jamal.

Haha I also remember pissing Uriel off to the point to where he would want to always throw the most random shit at me. A shoe box? a spoon? a remote? hahaha 

During the summer when I was in high school, Andrew would always have a hard time sleeping. So we would hook up the PS2 in my room and we would just play games till 4 in the morning.

Chris was a little skinny guy I always used to push around and trick him into doing stupid stuff. Now he is about my height, a freshman in high school, and holding his own on the varsity soccer team.

Time goes by fast.

WTF?….

We are only 15 minutes away from each other! Now I’m sitting here reading the beginning of this blog, and I noticed I’m already making excuses for myself. “…class, Two Jobs…” Bullshit excuse. I have friends going to colleges outside of the state who dont get to see their family, or on a ship completely isolated from all their family. Ha no excuse. I’m going to ditch some of my priorities this week and go see my brothers. It won’t kill me.

In the end, in the future, when my parents are gone… they are all i have.

Low Ride Mart

Tell me why the Wal-Mart here in San Marcos is starting to look more and more like a Lowrider car show. As you enter, there is a line of cars for sale, and as you proceed further into the parking lot there are people standing outside their cars with their bass and radio on blast. wARpEd tOUR

Warped Tour was the shit. Saw We the Kings, then got to meet Gym Class Heroes for like the 3rd time, met Cobra Starship,  The Devil Wears Prada, and Katy Perry (OMG)!!! I’m burned, and still exhausted.

Glow In The Dark

The Glow In The Dark Concert was amazing! Probably one of the livest concerts i have ever seen. As soon as everything went black, the crowd was hyped and screaming. Lupe Fiasco performed first, then N.E.R.D. Our seats were decent but they were kind of on the side. I wanted to move to the middle before Rihanna (SO HOT) performed but we ended up waiting till the end and before Kanye West came out. OMG, Rihanna was hot. 

We moved towards the middle and it was perfect. Kanye’s West performance gave me goosebumps the entire time. It was fucking awesome! I lost my voice and i’m sore from standing and jumping the entire night. I have been to a crap load of concerts and i can actually say that this was the best one. I definitely got my moneys worth.
