Ok so last year when I had decided to be the Joker I figured there was going to be a shitload of jokers roaming the streets since The Dark Knight was still embedded into everybodies head as the current best movie in a while. Then out of the four nights in a row I dressed up as Joker, turns out I only ended up running into 4 other jokers total.
Then this year, I go to 6th street, dressed up as Super Mario…. And there are Marios and Luigis everywhere. WTF?! Come on! You people have had 20 years to dress up as them, all of a sudden 2009 is the year of the Mario costumes.
….well then again I guess I can’t talk either. But god dammit!
Also it was pretty cool having people come up to us shouting “whats up super mario bros” or asking us to take pictures with them.
